A little off-track-and-not-feeling-too-well fun

Emily and Jaxon are both battling the flu this week.
Emily has it the worst. If it had to happen, at least it happened while she's off track so she won't be missing school.
When the Tylenol is on board she feels well enough to be bored so I made them some salt dough to play with this morning. I colored it with Paprika and Cocoa Powder for some Fall color. We got the idea from Family Fun magazine.

Jaxon hasn't left his seat for over an hour.

Emily's Tylenol wore off and she retreated to the couch shortly after I took this picture.

A strange new frontier....

Today I find myself a little lost. Kenzie's gone for a few days. At least. Emily is out of school. Jaxon is napping according to schedule (I remember when I wondered if he'd EVER sleep!) and I'm kind of bored.
No one to run anywhere. No pick ups or drop offs or appointments.
I just hand washed my bras.
That's how strange this is.

The weekend was fun. We went camping with friends and family and had a great time. (Other than the horrible sunburn I got on the last day.) We're looking forward to several more trips this year.
I'm planning to obsess over dutch oven cooking all summer long. :)
