Observe the rare completed project.

Kenzie had a couple of parts in her school musical
"Mulan Jr."
I made this costume for one of her parts.
It turned out pretty well and will serve as a VERY luxurious bathrobe for her now that the musical is over!

I also made the very talented actress that you see here. ;)

Grandma Got Fired.

:sniff: :sniff:
Heather was offered the job in Price that she wanted. So she came to pick up Tukker for the last time tonight.
I'll miss them both so much after seeing them almost every day.
But I'm super proud of Heather for going after what she wants.
Hmm....what will I do with my extra hand now? LOL

Grandparenting ~ Exponentially.

My computer and my camera are not currently on speaking terms. I'm not sure when an agreement will be reached so I decided I probably shouldn't put off my blogging any longer.
Please bear with my picture-less posts.

Grandma Daycare is back in full swing after the holidays. Mondays are especially chaotic. But I love those babies and I can handle chaos for one day out of the week. So far, anyway.

Katydid is Jaxon's friend again. They had a bit of a rivalry for awhile but now they play well together as long as there are two of each kind of toy.

Baby T is getting so big! Almost as big as Jaxon already. I have her every day and she is alot of fun for Jaxon and I while her mommy is at work. Heather is looking at buying a house in a small town a couple of hours away. If she is able to do that I won't get to babysit Tukker anymore. I'll sure miss her. And Jaxon will think he's lost a sibling!

Lily Belle is due in just a few more weeks. I can't wait to meet her and give her some Grandma snuggles!

Kayleigh and Brad found out it's another girl for them. Athena Jasmine will be arriving in July. She's already "Thena Bean" to her grandma. ;)

And BIG SURPRISE! Grandbaby #5 will be joining us the end of August. Stay tuned to see if it'll be another girl or if Jaxon will finally have to relinquish his Little Prince throne.

I suppose any mother of seven children should expect an onslaught of grandbabies eventually. ;)

Welcome 2008!!!

It started with a stomach bug for Emily and I but I refuse to accept that as a sign of things to come!

The big goal for us this year, call it a resolution if you like, is to eliminate credit card debt.
We're starting with a small card so we'll get a big rush of success early and that should help us stay the course! (That's the plan!)
Wish us luck!

Grandpa has been here since a week before Christmas and he'll be staying till March. This means he'll get to meet Amber and Joey's baby before he goes home. We were so happy to have him with us for Christmas and Jaxon just thinks he's the best friend ever. I really get alot accomplished during the day with Grandpa entertaining Jaxon.

Another resolution: To blog more!
But that's all I have for today in the condition I am in. LOL
Happy New Year!!

I'm a terrible blogger!

Originally I meant to blog a little each day. I've been lazy! I don't know why. I'm on the computer everyday.
This weekend was spent doing major cleaning and trying to get ready for Grandpa's visit. He's arriving today and staying till March so he can see Amber's baby when she comes.
As usual, we couldn't make room for him without a chain reaction of "Not Spring Yet" cleaning.
ugh! Someday I'll get this house under control.
So, the garage was completely cleaned out to make room for some of the storage items we had in the hallway. The hallway had to be cleaned out to make room for some of the shelves in the spare bedroom that we use for food storage. And then we had room for a bed for Grandpa! Yay!
Now the only room that haunts me is Emily's room. I need to take advantage of having Grandpa here to entertain Jaxon so I can get in her room and really purge it before Christmas.
With all these little hands running around this Christmas I did a less elaborate job of decorating for Christmas this year. The amount of time that Jaxon spends in the living room is dependant on how much energy we have for reminding him not to touch the tree. Or the nativity. Or the stockings. Hahaha
Every year we have a new ornament for each family member. This year I ordered them from a WAHM. Her business is http://www.beadedthings.com/ and the ornaments are absolutely beautiful. The kids were all very impressed. They're alot nicer than some of the handmade ornaments made by Mom. LOL
Off to finish the last few things on the To-Do list. (I love lists!)

The very first baby that I gave birth to...

...turned 22 yesterday. WOW! 22! And now she's pregnant with her second baby.

What a trip!

Here is the picture I took, for our Christmas cards, of the last 3 babies I gave birth to.

Where is that time machine decelerator?
