Meal Plan

Last week was a week of way too much really great food!!! 
Here's the plan for this week.

Sunday~Quinoa Stuffed Peppers, Salad
Monday~Lima Beans, Corn Bread
Tuesday~Homemade Pizza, Salad
Wednesday~Carribean Black Bean Soup
Thursday~Prime Rib, Scalloped Potato Gratin, Roasted Red Onions, Shrimp and assorted munchies
Friday~Slow Cooker Cabbage Roll Casserole, Rice, bread

This week's meal plan had to use up some leftovers and some meal plans fro last week that were held over.
Plus the New Year's Eve feast of course.
I'm excited for next week. I received two great cook books for Christmas that I'm anxious to try out. Both are healthier, lighter recipes which we are really gonna need!

I got Mark Bittman's How To Cook Everything. I'm DROOLING at the section on beans. I need a cleanse!

I've seen that one at the bookstore!
I hear ya on the cleanse. Notice there are beans on our meal plan twice this week. :P

I made a feast from the Indian book a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned to my friend that I definitely wanted to own the book. She got it for me for Christmas. :)

And the Carribean Black bean recipe on this week's meal plan is from the Good housekeeping one.
