Only 3 ingredients. Self rising flour, buttermilk and MAGIC.
That's why I love him.

I wish I could tell you more. I really do! All I know is that he puts some self rising flour in a bowl, pours on some buttermilk and then mixes it ever so gently. It's till very wet dough. he tips it out on the floured counter and gently works a bit more flour in. Then he pats the dough down to about a 1/2 inch thick. Then he cuts it with an old mandarin orange can that has both ends cut out. He puts these dough circles in a glass pan with a bit of oil in the bottom. Turns each one over n the oil before settling it in the pan. And bakes them in a 425 degree oven till they rise up tall and fluffy and golden. Mmmm......Oh! Then he rubs a stick of butter all over the tops when he takes them out of the oven. I'd guess he uses about a full tablespoon all together.
His Mom taught him. That's where he gets the magic. ;)
