Monday Baking

Today was Day 1 of packing everyone's lunches to save us $80ish a month. Nothing too fancy today but I did bake some pretty rolls to use throughout the rest of the week.
My internet friend posted a recipe and tutorial on her blog for some Rosette style hamburger buns.
So I absorbed her wisdom and whipped up a batch.
As soon as I got them on the baking sheets I could tell they were going to be great!

And they were!

Maybe a little too great. We've already eaten 1/4 of them. So I hurried and put 6 of them in the freezer for later in the week.
Did I tell you?!?! I ordered a fancy Blendtek blender last week. I can't wait to get it and start perfecting whole wheat recipes. Right now I have to use my manual wheat grinder which makes my elbows very, very angry.
Oh! We got word today that grandbaby #6 will be a boy. Hooray! One day we might get the boy/girl balance worked out in this family.
