It was a Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin carving was put off till two days before Halloween because Emily and Jaxon were so sick.
Then Kenzie got sick the day before but we couldn't put it off any longer. Doesn't she look excited? LOL

Emily was impressed that she could put her arm inside the pumpkin all the way up to her elbow.

Roger helped Jaxon carve his pumpkin. Jaxon really enjoyed scooping out the pumpkin guts.


Kenzie medicated heavily and dressed up for her party with her friends.

Emily dressed as Stephen King's IT.

Jaxon enjoyed digging through the boxes of costumes but he wanted nothing to do with wearing one. So this is as dressed up as he was willing to get. Upside down vampire teeth and scary claws.

Caydance and Athena as Thing 1 and Thing 2.
This was halfway through their trick or treating and an hour into a candy induced craze at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Did I tell you that they just moved into a house just down the street from us? Nice!


Tukker as a dinosaur. If she looks a little overwhelmed it's because there were 6 people on the other side of the camera trying to get her to ROAR.

Crystal and Travis stopped by after the football game at the U. This was the first time we have seen Travis. More or less. ;)

We all had a great time together.
Much chili, corn bread and hot chocolate was had.
Lots of cute grandbabies were kissed.
The company of our kids was enjoyed.
Too much candy was eaten.
Can't wait to do it again next year.
Same time, Same place.
Family and traditions are among the best things in life.
