I weigh 139.4 today, and for most of the past week.
I'm still not really counting points. Just keeping a mental check that I'm making healthy choices.
But I haven't deprived myself of a treat or two either. I just avoided over doing them. As with the almond cake a few days ago. Only one slice for me. And it was delicious!
I'm sad that the fresh produce of summer is coming to a close now. I could really taste a difference in the mixed fruit bowl we had with dinner last night. Already not so sweet and flavorful as it has been.
I'm on the search for interesting and delicious ways to incorporate fruits and veggies in our meal plans during the winter. Suggestions welcome!

I love the book Simply In Season. She breaks down the seasons and has recipes that uses fruits and veggies that are in season during each season.
Thanks Norah! I'll see if the library has a copy I can borrow.
Barbara Kingsolver's Animal Veggie Miracle also talks a lot about eating in season (as well as some recipes).
We tend to do a lot of stews in the winter...maybe I should break out a little!
Placed a hold on both of those at the library. Thanks!
