Faster Than A Speeding Bullet/Slower Than Molasses In January

Bullet:
Today was "Superhero Day" at school for Jaxon. In about 15 minutes, and without a pattern, I whipped up a Super Jaxon cape.
The emblem is too low. But he didn't seem to notice or mind.

Molasses:
No less than 31 months ago...okay it was actually more than 31 months ago...I purchased the fabric to make a quilt for the baby (Maveryk) that Heather was pregnant with at the time. I gave her the fabric at her baby shower and planned to have the quilt done shortly after the baby was born.
Great news! 31 months and another baby (Oliver) later, I finished the quilt today!

I had to enlarge it from crib to twin size after the first year or so. I planned to hand quilt the entire thing which might be the daunting thought that caused me to procrastinate so much. But I gave up on the hand quilting thing about a month ago. DONE is better than PERFECT they say. I just tied it and hand quilted only a random 16 of the puzzle pieces rather than all 96 of them.
And now it's done.
I also put all the kids on notice that I won't be committing to any more quilts for the grandbabies. Apparently no matter how much I want to do a thing, as soon as I commit to it, I lose interest. gah!
That said, I have already purchased most of the fabric to make a quilt for Dexter. Maybe. ;)

You just CANNOT make those beautiful quilts for SOME of the babies, and not ALL of them! The quiltless kids might end up in jail or on the skids or something and it would be because they never got their OWN quilt!!! lol (beautiful, btw)
