Easter Fun!

We had a fun day with most of the kids and grandkids yesterday.
Crystal wasn't feeling well so she couldn't make it.
And Joey's Grandfather passed away so he and Amber and Lily had other obligations and couldn't join us.
We missed them.
Roger and I colored eggs with the youngest three kids in the morning. We tried a new method for marbleizing the eggs that was fun and the eggs turned out really pretty.

Of course the Easter bunny had visited and left baskets for them. The Easter bunny honored our desire to live healthier and brought substantially less candy this year than in years past.
And we bought Easter outfits for the kids too. That isn't something we have made a tradition of. Mostly because, in the past, it was cost prohibitive with a half dozen kids living at home all at once. LOL
But this year we decided it was something we were willing to support in lieu of a half ton of candy. Unfortunately Kenzie hasn't found a dress she likes yet. She wants something modest for church and all the trendy dresses available in the stores right now come without sleeves and missing the bottom half of their skirts. So we'll keep looking.

We had a small egg hunt in the yard. Caydance arrived for a visit just in time to help Jaxon hunt for eggs and play on the trampoline.

Everyone came for dinner and we played games afterwards.
"Grandma Bea" joined us for dinner and then kicked all our butts at Farkel.
Good times were had by all.

WW note: I was STUNNED to find that a serving of Lion House potatoes is only 4-5 points. I would have guessed MUCH higher. LOL Thanks to that turn of luck, Easter did not derail my weight loss plans at all. I even had a slice of lemon cake!

Your eggs are Gorgeous! And as far as modest dresses go - there are some cute websites online she could try or some very cute patterns as well. Or a vintage store. :)
