Her daughter chose the fabrics and they were so fun to work with.
Some happy, Springy, fabric fun!
A place to journal my journey. The kids, the journey to debt freedom, trying to live a healthy lifestyle, crafting, cooking, the house, this, that and everything else! Just my thoughts about my days in paradise.

Trish: Very cute and "springy"... Do you have a source on the internet for instructions on this project? Not a pattern, necess., but general "how to"s???
I'd like to make one with my niece.

The quilt turned out beautiful Trish. I love the colors. Your backyard looks great too. Congratulations on making the decision to move. I'm sure you'll be very busy in the coming days :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
Mel~ Here's link with directions that look like the way I do it. I don't use batting. I use flannel in the middle layer, cut to the same size as the prints. For all the quilts I've done recently I used 6X6 inch squares which result in 5X5 squares in the finished quilt. I hope that helps. It would be a good project for the two of you. But you'll need someone to help out with the BAGILLION snips in the seams. That's the unfun part and makes my hands hurt. LOL

Marcia~ Thanks for visiting. :) I hope the hard work will pay off for us in the end. If nothing else, I guess it gets us busy doing the projects that a family just kind of learns to look past after so many years in one place.
Those quilts are so cute!! I've loved every one of them!
It would be nice to have your creativity and MAD skills!!
Thanks, T! Tasha (my niece) and I are excited to do this! (She's 9 and very artistic and creative, too) We'll go shopping for fabric today. Gotta use Mom's 1940's sewing machine since mine are all in storage. Should be FuN! Thanks so for the info! Luvs! Happy Day! (PS excited to see pix of your home remodel!) xo
