We've been making efforts, as the budget allows, to make the house more energy efficient. We're trying to bring our utility bills down as much as we comfortably can.
One task has been replacing every light bulb with a CFL.
Today Roger went around the house counting just how many light bulbs we have. He came up with 100. And we found about 3 more that he forgot about.
Phew! That's a whole lot of light bulbs, huh?

Probably about 50 (without getting up to actually count...)
14 lightbulbs in our house. I should and will be adding a few more light fixtures/lamps. Oh I forgot the two outside.
That's a lot of lightbulbs!
We've changed many of ours to CFL, but the dimmable lights couldn't be done... at least not until recently, and now not without a pretty penny.
We switched the most used and most important one... the 6 pot-rack lights above the kitchen island. We replaced 6 decorative 40 watt bulbs with 6 CFUs with 60 watts. Love the extra lighting.
