~Last night I was flipping through that cookbook Melanie sent me and one of the recipes is Enchiladas Dos! I couldn't believe it! That is the recipe I got from my Grandma 25 years ago! I've been making it ever since! That exact recipe. People love it. I'll bet at least 2 dozen people have requested that recipe from me over the years. I started calling it "Grandma's Enchiladas" because my Grandma gave me the recipe and Roger's Mom (The kids' Grandma. Get it?) LOVED them. She always requested that I make them anytime they were here to visit or we went to West Virginia. Very cool.
~I went to the gym today. Four days last week and twice this week. I walked 3 miles on the treadmill today. My goal is to go to the gym at least 20 times in June. I put a ticker down at the bottom of my blog to help me keep track.
~I feel frustrated today about relationships. I wish people would just be who they are. Period. I am getting tired in my "old age" of putting up with silly games and having to try to figure people out. Finding out I've been unwittingly led into someone's game. Aaargh! Why do people want to add complications to life. Aren't there enough without adding to it???
~I'm totally thrilled with all the wet, cool weather we've been having. This is a perfect June in my world. I dread July.
~I'm thinking about seperating my "Fit by 40" posts out from this blog and making a different one for those. But so far I'm too lazy to do anything but think about it. What do you think? I struggle because the cooking and trying new recipes really ARE a part of my daily stay at home Mom life but now they are also focused on being healthier. So I have a hard time seeing the dividing line between the two. Hmmm....
~My house is a wreck and I need a shower. I seem to be the only one around right now to handle either of those things so I better get to it.

That's so neat 'Grandma's' recipe was in there!!
This is my perfect June, too. LOVE the weather.
Hayden's last day of preschool wss today, forcing me to shower earlier. lol
Not sure on the blog.. I like having a separate one. You could always give it a try and then go back to just one if it's not working out.
Very cool about the recipe.
People have a hard time being who they are for a number of reasons. I think it makes you a healthier person when you don't let those "reasons" turn you into someone you don't want to be..."
Sounds like someone has taken advantage or tricked you in some way into playing a role you weren't intending... life is complicated... and vague(lol). You'll have to email me.
I took my fitness stuff out of my blog because I felt like it was all I ever talked about and I wanted to force myself to talk about something else on the main blog. As you can see, I ain't got much lately.
I think it's kind of a pain to have to keep up with someone who has multiple sites, (listen to me talk), and I kinda like this integrated lifestyle approach you got going on here. She gardens, cleans, cooks, eats healthy, has a family, a sweet hubby, manages her money and... all here. It's nice. It's simple.
That's cool you found the recipe in the cookbook.
I like having you blog about everything in one blog. I get some recipes off there and it's easy to find.
I'm enjoying the June weather also. But it makes it so I can't go walking which is a bummer.
Love you!
How awesome that your enchie recipe is in our cookbook (I have a copy of that cookbook, too). My mom and Grandma both cooked out of that book for probably over 30 years and me, for at least the last 15. Its kinda a family staple around here, to have in our cupboards. Im glad you liked everything; and Jaxon likes the cars..yay! xo *Mel
