Before. Or the ugly truth.

I SOOOO almost didn't put these up here. ugh! But I'm just going to hold my breath and do it with confidence that my "after" pics will erase the image from your minds (and mine).

Here's the really crappy reality. I wore these pants right up to the end of my last pregnancy. Seriously. Right up to delivery day. *sigh*

Well, I'm off to find a snack which will use up my last 3.5 points for the day.
Day two was good.
The recipes I tried for dinner were only so so.
~Ratatouille Casserole and Provencal Chicken Strips from the WW New Complete Cook Book.

T, I'll be interested in hearing particularly what you do to ease the hunger cravings. Since I've been ill and often bedridden there is too much time and space to think about food and snacks. I give you kudos for posting the daring pic (I know how hard it is to post anything but out BEST photos! I"m not quite "there" yet!) and for taking on the weight loss challenge. I need to figure out a plan for me that will work with my health restrictions, vegetarian diet etc. You are gonna make it, I know! :) *Mel PS looking forward to you posting some of the better recipes too...xo

I have WW New Complete Cookbook too!!
I would suggest a recipe if I had tried one, but I'm pretty sure looking though it is all I've done.
I see your other WW book is 20 Minute Recipes, my second book is WW All Time Favorites.
I bought my books at the suggestion of a friend from work who's wife has been cooking this way for three years. The two of them lost quite a bit of weight and we're happy while doing it.
I got my book at Costco...Seems like they were about $18.

Christy~ Thanks for the encouragement. Smiling is my "fake it till I make it" strategy. LOL
Maybe I'll try that other WW book in a few weeks. I'm always up for new recipes.

Mel~ I noticed that on the WW message board there are a few vegetarian members. In fact, meat takes up quite a few points so going veg might make the snacking less of an issue.
I haven't been hungry at all the past two days. I'm eating smaller portion sizes but I'm eating more often than I was before. I would often skip breakfast or lunch before.

Really, you don't look that bad at all. I love the before and after pics tho. Won't be too long!

I have some tasty WW recipes I'll have to send ya later (Ill post them on PYP when I get a chance). But I gotta say- you are braver than I ever will be in posting pics. My "before" shots wont even be shown when I get to my goal~ which is much farther away than yours.

have a happy healthy day!
