We did our shopping today. I still need to go to the Asian market for a couple of things. I was hoping to spend only $400 on groceries for January (the actual budget is $500) and it is still possible. But we are a few dollars over budget for this pay period. I'll see if I can make it up in the next pay period.
I have a head start on a few meals already so it should be possible.

Hmmm? Wasabi.... love it. Mashed Potatoes... love em. Wasabi Mashed Potatoes... curious. Is this the first time you are having this? Let me know what everyone thinks of these.
That's one of the first Rachael Ray meals I ever made. We've had it lots of times. I can usually find flank steak marked down at Smith's pretty much every time I go in.
The kids don't like the wasabi so I divide the potatoes in half and stir wasabi paste or powder into just mine and Roger's.
