Roger and I went out to do some Christmas shopping yesterday. We enjoyed our visit at IKEA for a little too long and so I wasn't able to make homemade bread for dinner like I had planned. So we spent $1.50 on a loaf of french bread.
But we got great new pillows! ;)

Well you are just about halfway through the month. You are doing really good and even seem to have room for Christmas meals. Keep going!
Christmas will be a piece of cake! POTLUCK brunch. woohoo!
I usually provide the ham which I get for free or nearly free after rebates.
I'm thinking I will make it thru the year with at least $200 to spare. I'll be happy just to come in under budget though. Groceries is pretty much the only budget category that we ever exceed anymore. The problem is that I have access to too many good deals. And I get A LOT for the money. But I have a hard time passing up a deal. I've been avoiding even looking at the PYP grocery lists for right now.
