GC Update

We spent $158 at the grocery store today. YIKES!
There is still hope that we will come in under the $500 budget though.
Some of today's purchases were GREAT deals we can use in next week's meal plan.
Like whole Hormel Cure 81 hams for $12. That's my favorite ham brand so we snagged two of them.
I'm sure we'll have a couple days worth of leftovers from our Christmas meal too.
And there was a smokin' hot deal on diapers that I couldn't pass up even though we don't really need more diapers till next month.

FYI on that diaper deal-
Huggies jumbo packs are $9.99 each at Smith's.
Buy two for $19.98 and the register will automatically take off $3.
Sweeten the deal with coupons.
I paid $13.98 for two and I will get a rebate as well which will bring the cost down to $11.98 or $5.99 per package.
But $6.99 per package is still a great deal. Huggies for the price of generics!
