We had a GREAT Christmas. Hope you did too. :)

Kenzie stayed at her Dad and Christy's this year so we just had Emily and Jaxon for the Christmas morning magic.
And there WAS magic. Emily has been asking for a guitar for quite awhile and with some help from an elf who knows way more about guitars than we do, she got her wish! She was so happy! There were actually tears in her eyes! And her exact words were "Oh my gosh!"

And then Jaxon had a new phrase for the rest of the day. "Oh my gosh!" :)
He used this phrase to exclaim over car and train wrecks on his new train table all day long.

After the traditional Christmas brunch and opening presents the day dwindled down and we all took our lead from Thena Bean.

Here are the sewing projects that kept me busy in the past week or two. Tote bags with color books and crayon rolls for Jaxon, Caydance and Tukker.

We made it through Christmas with NO additional credit card debt whatsoever. A first for many years. And as much as we tried to keep it simple there was wrapping paper chaos just by virtue of the number of people we have in this family now. There were 24 people here for brunch and it was a wonderful day.
Dennis, Christy and Kaylee had to leave before I had a chance to say goodbye but I'm sure they know we love them and that we were so glad they could be here with us.
