Tuesday Run Down

Soo tired again. I'm getting a cold. :(
I did manage to get alot done today tho.
~Hot breakfast for the kids. The Strata was even better the second day.
~Laundry
~Shampooed the bedroom carpets. Blech! I say again, carpet is gross!
~Made a double batch of marinara sauce and froze it for next week's meal plan because the fresh basil wasn't going to make it another day and I didn't want it to go to waste.
~Almost done with the current Christmas project. I'm tempted to just stay up and finish it but I'm just too tired. I'll get it done tomorrow.
~Drove kids to and fro all day. Including picking Kenzie up from the soup kitchen downtown where she volunteered this evening. Proud of her. :)
~Dinner- We used most of the rest of the cranberry sauce on our turkey burgers. So that's leftovers - part 5? I think. Dinner was delicious and I'm too full to have a piece of the...
~Pie. I found a mince pie in the freezer and baked it. I thought it was older than it was and almost threw it out. Good thing I opened it first. It's fine. I guess. Like I said, I didn't have any. lol
~Various and assorted care and maintenance of three children.

Why am I blogging the details of my day?
Because this SAHM sometimes loses sight of what she has accomplished in a day when it is so often undone by the next sunrise.
Maybe it'll help that there is a record somewhere. A list.
I do love lists.
Good night.

I had no idea you hadn't finished the strata! I so would have been there!
That's so funny about the lists. Just today I was talking to someone at work, "Did you make a list? I'm all about lists!"
The best ones are the kind that say what you've already done... rather than the ones that represent what is left to do. Nothing better than making a list and crossing one or two or all the items off right away!
Hope you kick this cold's #$$!
~night!

Bummer!
If I'd checked this comment last night I would have invited you to stop by for breakfast this morning.
But I just ate the last piece of strata for breakfast. :P
Maybe next week. I'm going to make one with peaches and pecans. YUM!

Awww. Sweet!

BTW I love the Dinner list you do in the sidebar. I don't read it everyday but I read it every few. I hope you keep doing it.

I think it's good to reflect on the things you've accomplished. We all need to give ourselves credit, or acknowledge the good news about ourselves!!
